What goes into every bottle

Every bottle we sell contains exactly two kinds of thing: produce, and where a recipe calls for it, dates or spices. That is the whole list. What is never in our juice: no sugar, no syrup, no sweetener powders, no artificial colour, no flavouring, no preservatives, no added water except where a traditional recipe such as Zobo requires brewing. Where our produce comes from. We buy fresh from Lagos markets several times a week, in small quantities, so nothing sits in storage. We know our sellers, we pick by hand, and anything bruised, under-ripe or tired goes back. If the pineapples are not good that week, that juice goes out of stock rather than into a bottle. Sweetness. Where a blend needs sweetening, we use dates - whole, blended into the drink. That is why Zobo with Dates and Tiger Nuts with Dates taste round and full without a grain of sugar. If you would rather have none at all, the unsweetened Zobo exists for exactly that reason. Allergens. Tiger Nuts with Dates is made from tiger nuts, which are tubers rather than true nuts, but if you have any nut sensitivity please message us before ordering. Everything is prepared in the same kitchen.
